I checked it myself. But you can't know it because of age, not ignorance. In fact, she is the niece. She is considered one of the prime cases of Stockholm syndrome of the twentieth century. "The rich heiress" (the type of woman both of you like) was kidnapped in '74 by the Symbionese Liberation Army and... was caught while robbing with them. Ah, these rich Americans.

Hi Fusi :-) Beautiful page. It's nice to snuggle up for ten minutes in the '20s as winter approaches (I even have the wood stove on). Hollywood Babylonia? When will you dedicate a nice '40s noir to us? But is the Hearst publisher also Patti Hearst's grandfather? Maybe you don't remember it, that's old people's stuff...

"Young man dies whom the gods love" is a fragment by Menander, which became famous because it was also quoted by Leopardi. Pessoa arrived a bit late. I'm sorry, but if there’s one thing I find unbearable, it's those who make quotes and then get them wrong.

Uh Uh, comment 100 is free, and I’m taking it (maybe). Hey Super, tone it down a bit. What are these comparisons between Poletti and Kurtz? Let’s moderate the terms, please!!! Poletti is one of those Japanese guys who are still in the trees and haven’t been told that the war is over, come on. Otherwise, we’re all just boys sent to collect the debts (I know the quote is wrong, but it was more or less like that).

@Isi: Rod no. He talks about "Ballatone americane," and Rod is Scottish!

Beautiful. I understand you, as I also believe I’m your age. Although, on the contrary, I continue to listen to and appreciate, especially groups of young teenagers (it’s well known how unstable I am for Roberta by Verdena). The only doubt: wasn’t it Simon, Garfunkel’s little friend? A lapse caused by age?

Forgiven, forgiven. I too must ask for Your forgiveness. I sent you the piece by Fontella Bass.

@Bjorky: to make it up to you, I'm finally sending you the Fontella piece to the address you gave me. @Super: indeed "Cone down heavy" is one of the few sub-Stooges records I like. I loved the first EP by the Filipinos, the one with that track called, if I remember correctly, "Summertime," an absolute masterpiece of wah-wah, but I wasn't really into the first full-length.

Bjorky, you’re the same as always: first you betray Black for me, now me for Super. You didn’t even come to see my latest :-( Sorry, but I only saw your private stuff TODAY… I’ve never listened to UCP, I’ve just heard their name; bands that have the Stooges as icons kind of scare me. By the way, did you used to like Thee Hypnotics? As for Swedish bands, I don’t think anyone cares, but I even saw Nomads live (?!!).

I only heard the single. I'm really intrigued by it, with those two minutes of wah-wah. Anyway, great choice.
