Page dedicated to a great Artist.
Franco Battiato Inneres Auge - Il Tutto E' Più Della Somma Delle Sue Parti

I listened to the single track INNERS AUGE, finding it a thousand miles away from the various masterpieces of Franco.
Live, Battiato is always a great pleasure.

I received it as a gift... I read it and it seemed like a crazy piece of crap to me.
Takeshi Kitano Sonatine
Voto:
...for me, the most beautiful of Kitano is precisely SONATINE. Great review.
Fiorella Mannoia Ho imparato a sognare
Voto:
I completely agree with a beautifully written review. Mannoia has been past her prime for years. Aside from the horrible performances already mentioned, I remember the disgusting live show with Pino Daniele, De Gregori, and Ron, which perhaps intended to position itself on the farcical line of a revived CSN&Y Italian style with 40 years of delay, but which in reality was a shabby commercial operation to fill theaters and summer arenas, centered around the idea of singing famous songs as if one were at the beach...

a crazy load of crap...
Susanna Nicchiarelli Cosmonauta

While I find the initial idea and certain concepts interesting (as I've already mentioned), I did not like the film: the screenplay starts off well but then veers straight into the most predictable (and trite) late-teen stories (him, her, the other one, the friend, etc.). Of course, my reference to Brunetta was merely provocative: I fully endorse what TELESPALLA said (including the judgment of Placido's film).
Woody Allen Basta Che Funzioni

After several absolutely forgettable films, I would say this one WORKS. It’s not a masterpiece, but fans of WOODY will find something to sink their teeth into.

I can only express my disappointment for a film that, despite its commendable vintage video inserts, is shot like any ordinary television fiction. The actors are unable to give their best, the story doesn’t hold up at all and fails in its aim to portray the (first) Italian youth of the late '50s and early '60s... If I think that this is a film financed by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, I feel inclined to agree with Brunetta... The review is well written anyway, the film deserves a solid one (the same rating I would give to MIO FRATELLO E' FIGLIO UNICO, another film that shares a similar, though obviously unmet, ambition of telling a generation...).
Franco Battiato Fleurs 2

It is true that there are moments of "falling," but it is a good album, even in the "classic" arrangements. The cover of BREL is spine-chilling. Battiato has shown in these three albums that he knows how to handle the ancient art of the COVER or "remake." And that's no small feat.
