Nice comments, highly appreciated the critiques (stimulating) and the nostalgic memories related to the album. Well done!

Very unexpectedly human comments considering it's an ultra duplicate. I was already ready to accept and swallow heaps of shit. I deliberately haven't described the album, except in passing, because it didn't make sense from my point of view in light of the other deeply analytical and super descriptive reviews on Debaser; so I thought it would be better to try and write something personal and different. I find track-by-track analyses and name lists to be useless and boring.

I think this film has gone mostly unnoticed. Really well made, not a masterpiece but seeing it in the cinema with 15 people. A bit too many ellipses for my taste, but well done! A nice offering that stands out from the usual.

Come on?!? Damn, but like this Steve is losing points for me... luckily I didn't put the stars, otherwise I would have taken one away from the flight :)

"The most shocking and epoch-making news since the attacks of September 11, 2001!" The fact that everyone is talking about the death of someone who wanted to self-destruct and considers this passing as the show of the 22nd century makes me understand why this world is going to hell... And now everyone is buying the CDs of your black-and-white angel who loved children. He was misunderstood, he was fragile. As if Burma doesn’t exist, let's listen to Thriller and form a Facebook group about the poor Michael, murdered and martyr of pop. My God (or rather yours).
Manowar Gods Of War

I laugh at the tasty pain of a band that has no idea left that's worth anything. They claim to be true and then release four live DVDs in just a few years and limited editions that serve solely and exclusively their wallets. I see a narcissistic and simply pathetic formation commercializing in a terrifying way, always aiming for the same covers despite being nearly 50 years old. By comparison, the most promiscuous boy band is super innovative, and as much as this may sting TRUE METAL fans, this is the TRUE truth. The same shaven and muscular warrior is still kicking ass against the bad guys. Once they released Warriors Of The World to go seek out, with swords drawn, who brought down the twin towers. Innovation has been dead and buried for years, but they can no longer change; otherwise, they would lose their category of fan(atic). The fact that DeMaio & Co. have probably never been in a war is secondary. It's enough to write once again about honor, glory, death, blood, freedom... The impossibly fit warrior never tires. No PlayStation, no beers at the pub, or simple fooling around. No, he’s always on the front lines, ready to plunge his sword into the side of the latest unfortunate victim. Yes, because once upon a time, there were no automatic weapons, and in battle, it was the bravest who won... Those were the good old days. And so everyone arms themselves against the new enemies (Call To Arms), for a cry of freedom (Fight For Freedom) and ready to fight once again united (Warriors Of The World) to bring death and destruction (House Of Death) to the enemy. Maybe we’ll die (Fight Until We Die), but we’ll do it fighting. But the same game can be played for “Hail And Kill”, the self-celebration in “Kings Of Metal” and “Number One”. Their religion is metal because let’s not forget the amusing and incredibly cheesy “The Gods Made Heavy Metal”. Be careful to mock them because they are the “Gods Of War” and they fight with steel. Not joking!!! Once in a while, they propose a new innovative product to the record label McDonald's of the moment, and just like in 1987 there was “Mc Fighting The World,” now we have the brand-new “Mc Warriors Of The World/Mc Gods Of War,” complete with the true-meal sword for killing the false. Because they don’t make money by taking us for fools. Heaven forbid!!! They feed on pure ideals and don’t aim for money with all the identical CDs!!! No, the Hell On Earth I, II, and III DVDs, and the indispensable The Absolute Power DVD, not to mention the must-have Live version of Gods Of War. All these products released in the last six years are a godsend. It’s a metal Santa Claus offering us these odes of divine inspiration to improve the world, and we must hope this sacred rain doesn’t stop.
These are Manowar. Nazis??? If we look at the lyrics, they lean a bit more to the right, but I wouldn’t be surprised if this were just a facade. True in the sense of being non-commercial and idealistic??? Let’s not kid ourselves; they are a band that tries to sell like everyone else and has had its time... there are those who put the current girl on the cover and those with the bloodthirsty warrior.
If I can take one last pebble out of my shoe, I conclude that Manowar is one of the bands that does the most harm to the movement and is shamelessly overrated. They create fucked-up stereotypes and, above all, take away space from technically more gifted formations, more inspired (and moderate) in their lyrics and their ability to create melodies that can endure over time without being mere copy-paste of what has been done in the past.
Metal greetings.
Novak Djokovic Vs Rafael Nadal Semifinale Madrid Masters 1000 - 16.05.09

I don't like Nadal. He hits hard and runs like a mule, he has great technique, but the class, understood as ease of execution and lightness, of a Boris Becker, Stich (unlucky for his very brief career), Sampras, Edberg, and Federer is from another planet. As soon as he has an injury at around 25-26 years old, Mr. Nadal will disappear from the scene while Federer, at 34, will play the wicked old man like Agassi, because one has immense class and a belly, while the other is a perfectly constructed machine. The true tennis, the slower and immensely more technical and varied one, belonged to a different era. Federer reminds us of the past.
