Hello everyone. But do you really think that with the phrase "commiseration for the misfits," I was referring to the characters in the film and the kind of angle the Coens wanted to give to their work??? Do you consider me that stupid? Even a blind person can see that Drugo and his crew have been beautifully depicted as myths to chase after and imitate. Who watching this film wouldn’t want to throw everything to the winds, tie a noose around their neck, burn it, and say: damn it, I want to live like that too! I was referring to the fact that the Coens managed to make me laugh by transforming misfits (like Drugo) into heroes to be idolized to the four winds. If, on the other hand, I encountered a guy in a bathrobe, slippers, and boxers at the supermarket writing a check to buy a carton of milk, I don’t know about you, but I’d be damn it, I would feel (personal and debatable opinion) commiseration and pity. With that phrase, I wanted to say that the Coen brothers are great at making us laugh heartily by putting their cynical spotlight on a difficult category like misfits. It’s not easy. Damn, it didn’t seem so convoluted to me... Thanks for the comments.

Thank you very much for the lovely comments and above all, I am grateful to bartle and ...caz for introducing me to Lansdale with their comments on debaser. Until two weeks ago, I didn’t even know who he was, but this style of writing and storytelling totally fulfills me.

To demonstrate the above in my comment today, a new show. The opposition (and so do I) cheers for the crisis and writes on the walls -6 referring to the soldiers killed. And applause ensues.

Those who say he was elected by the majority of eligible Italians are right. Not just those who have interests. The majority. It's a fact. We should reflect on this. The only explanation I can give for such vast and ongoing support is rampant ignorance. I am convinced that many see him as a cool guy because of the escort issue, thinking that at 73 he’s getting laid like a porcupine, laughing because he throws up horns in official photos and acts jovial with the big shots. I also believe that many are convinced that Italy is full of communists who, while not eating babies, cheer for the economic crisis, glorify fallen soldiers, and so on. I think many view the P2 as a video game, the prescription as a doctor’s recipe, and the Lodo Alfano as a trendy knot. I turn on the television, think about social networks that spread superficiality, annihilate critical thinking, and render ignorance rampant. I look around and ponder that perhaps, as a hypothesis, it isn’t so far-fetched. I think that if society is reduced to this, accepts, absorbs without discussion, and has a horrendously short memory, it is necessary to lower oneself to the level of the majority to gain electoral feedback. But then, and here I conclude, I think that seventy-three years are not few, and we have been lucky because without having a party made of smoke, it crumbles with a gust of wind. I hope so; we will see.

No offense: it’s useless and poorly written. Starting with "cioè" followed by ellipses... You’re stating banalities. If you want to critique, I think it’s better to use a bit of irony, not the usual little phrases. Presumably terrible work.
