The work of Meat Loaf is actually entirely written by Jim Steinman.

Well, of course I know... basically I’m coming for that since I’m a bit apprehensive about the quality of Land Of The Free II and the latest effort from the pumpkins. I was also at Wacken when Kai sang with Helloween the old hits... As for Falconer, I’ve heard a bit but they don’t say much to me... conventional power-heavy.

I was just joking :) I realized it was a mistake. Anyway, I'm going to Milan.

I agree with everything except for "Kei" Hansen. In November, I'll also be there to experience 20 years of European power metal in a single concert. Bye!

First of all, it needs to be said. Early European power metal is totally different from what it is today, much more melodic, accessible, and with orchestral elements. The real power metal was born in Germany during the early '80s. Lucifer's Heritage, Avenger, Iron Fist (the embryos of their respective Blind Guardian, Rage, and Helloween), along with Grave Digger, Running Wild, and if you want, even Accept, which I still consider more classic metal. After 1997, with the release of Somewhere Out In Space (Gamma Ray), Destiny (Stratovarius), Legendary Tales (Rhapsody), Nightwish's debut, etc., the genre's sound has softened tremendously, and now most of the new European power metal releases have very little to do with the raw, minimalistic, and powerful (in the sense of strength) sound of the early days. I don't know much about US power, but it's very different.

You're the one who told everyone to fuck off (or almost) a month and a half ago with a Ctrl C - Ctrl V message in all the reviews on the homepage, and now you come back referring to yourself formally, with a good four exclamation points!!!!. Well?! Welcome back then.

Look, I'll write something... I had the pleasure of listening to and buying the previous Holy Hell. I got to know this singer only through the Avantasia project, captivated by the performance of a song. I adore his voice, and reading your review, which is very well-written and not too long in describing the tracks, I feel like I can say that it continues on the path of Holy Hell (2005). Melodic heavy metal and at times much harder and fiercer (thrash). In short, I might just get it, and I recommend that if you don’t have it, you check out the previous chapter, really beautiful. Great job reviewing classy metal... I'll give a rating to the album when and if I get it.

I said you come off as a loser with comments like that, not that you are a loser. There's a big difference. I don't know you, so I have no idea what kind of person you might be and honestly, I don't care... So rest assured: I don't want to disturb your peace, or play archery. Bye and enjoy rock with Negramaro.

"The German power metal scene hasn't had much fame." Total nonsense.
Helloween (over 15 million copies)
Gamma Ray (10)
Blind Guardian
Running Wild
Rage
Grave Digger
and I'll stop here. If they may not be appreciated much here in Italy, don't think that elsewhere these bands and many others haven’t been (and still are) IDOLIZED. Bye bye.

Jamie... they publish everything, so don't act cool saying "oh, they published this too" because you just come off looking lame. The Negramaro leave me indifferent and calling them a rock band (not to mention the great) seems misleading... Track by track, especially when they are long, makes me yawn...
