Battiato is unique, but for some types of ears, it can be almost unbearable to listen to. I respect him for composing distinct music, writing important lyrics, and dissociating himself from the commercial music that I despise... that said, his music just slips away from me without leaving a trace. Well, in an era of earbuds and MP3s, production matters less and less. That said, from my arguably questionable point of view, top-notch production is essential. It allows you to use a stereo and turn up the volume without hearing background noise or dirty sound... a bad production can make a work unlistenable to my ears, confusing all the instruments, etc... oh well.

Hey... breathe, stay calm and have a chamomile. Three messages for such bullshit seem excessive to me. I got the context... my laugh wasn't aimed at you but at the fact that I can't stand these shitty movies full of clichés where a commercial melodic rock band (they're okay to me) like Kiss is considered like they're a Norwegian black metal band just because of some bizarre outfits. At most, I'm mad at you for watching and giving a 5 to such crap, but the review is decent.
Going back to the stereotypes about rock/metal, it's like the other day at the Helloween and Gamma Ray concert. I read on the flyers: "tonight in Milan, performance by two of the most extreme metal bands." Uuuaahahahahaa, it’s laugh-out-loud funny, and the best part is that the ignorant idiot who wrote this crap doesn't even realize how ridiculous he looks to anyone who knows the genre.
