Oh what a drag, there are better records than Grace, and now? Bullshit from Scaruffi...

I have the album, and I'm not that enthusiastic about it; I find it too cacophonous. I like trip-hop because it relaxes me, but if I have to listen to this, I don't relax at all!!! However, the review isn't very good; you could have elaborated more. Let's do it this way, 3 to both, since I'm feeling nice today :-)

But were you there at the concert, or does he introduce it like that at all concerts? Anyway, I don’t trust you because I haven’t seen a single positive comment from you about any album, so I've come to the conclusion that instead of hating Allevi, you just can’t stand music at all...

Paolo, I like Genesis, and I’m speaking from what I've heard, but I don’t think the concert was such a wonderful thing...

It really seems to me that Giovanni Allevi doesn't make jazz. Whether or not he knows how to improvise, I don't know; I think you're right, but making an album featuring only the piano seems like a very brave choice to me. And if he has reached a wide audience, that's a good thing, because success in itself is not a bad thing. I'm convinced that if he hadn't become famous, you would all have praised him. L'orologio degli dei is a masterpiece, come on!

Terrible review, both in terms of language and content. Very pop and hardly prog. This concert must have been a complete disaster, not just because of the pieces played, but also because you tell me they played badly. One thing, I know it’s unrelated: the day before yesterday I saw Giovanni Allevi’s concert: technically he seems like a monster, he kept us glued to our seats, he really involved us, and from a compositional standpoint, I thought he was excellent, yet on this site, they speak poorly of him: Why? (P.S. I had never seen Allevi before)

Yes, Blackdog, but the fact that he jumped in fully clothed into a river at night, without being drunk or high, means to me that he committed suicide.

It’s not fair. It’s not fair that Jeff Buckley died at thirty drowning in a river (probably suicidal) and it’s not fair that they keep bothering him even in death. Let him rest in peace, or maybe honor him with reviews like this one.
