Whether I agree with the theory of evolution is another matter (but I am a convinced atheist and believe in Darwin's theory). Banco, among other reasons, appeals to me because it incorporates just the right amount of politics into its pieces (Canto nomade and dopo niente è più lo stesso are two anthems, the first to freedom, the second against war, and neither speaks of right or left), so I don’t think the band should be contested. Then with Darwin, Banco explicitly stated their thoughts, but always did it with elegance, without overtly opposing the church.
