For doom, I would highly recommend Saint Vitus, Witchfinder General, and Candlemass! I really like Satyricon and Darkthrone, especially their early works. Pure black! I'm not very familiar with funeral doom; I've only heard it mentioned... I wouldn't know.

Oh right, the Pearl Jam are another great band, absolutely! "Ten" is one of the cornerstones of grunge... Nirvana are a bit different from Alice, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden because these bands have a richer hard rock root. Just listen to the title track "Superunknown" and "Rusty Cage" by Soundgarden, "Outshined" and "Spoonman" by Soundgarden, "Them Bones," "Rooster," and "We Die Young" even get close to metal! Nirvana are a bit wilder and more melancholic, just grunge! Anyway, all these bands defined the grunge scene of the nineties, there’s no doubt about it.

You’re right 47, "Superunknown" is truly a masterpiece. Among the albums you listed earlier, I'm very familiar with Tool; "Aenima" and "Undertow" are really excellent. I've only listened to "Demon Cleaner" by Kyuss. The self-titled album by Korn is very nice, while I've listened to only a little from Nine Inch Nails, Radiohead, and Neurosis. Anyway, you mentioned all fantastic bands!

"Superunknown" and "Badmotorfinger" are two masterpieces!

For me, the biggest bands of grunge are Alice In Chains and Soundgarden, and of course Nirvana.

Well, come on, Rock TV is not a commercial television... even though they often play videos of not very interesting bands on Heavy Rotation. Anyway, I mainly watch Blooteg, Pino Scotto Database, Classic, Salaprove, and Doctor Ringo. But why did Aleister have to cancel Extreme Metal??

No, well, I really like black metal... maybe even more than death. I just heard "Anthem To Self Destruction" by them right now on MySpace...

Of Golden Earring, I only know the famous "Radar Love" and "Twilight Zone," the rest I haven't heard.. anyway, "Radar Love" is a beautiful song full of energy and drive! A band that might resemble Ram Jam a bit, that is, those who played the great "Black Betty".. I've only listened to that hit of theirs as well.

Damn, what a name! Nocturnal Depression.. umm, never heard of them. Anyway, I can already picture the group's style.. there will surely be the usual ugly screams (I say ugly because some black bands have voices that have nothing to do with screaming), songs that last an eternity, and the classic blast beat. In case I listen to them.. When it comes to black metal, I prefer to listen to the great and famous black bands from the nineties.. DET SOME ENGANG VAR!
