Death SS Do What Thou Wilt

Great Defender85, as always you delight us with your beautiful reviews, which focus on bands that still deserve so much today. Just tonight I was listening to a CD I made of Death SS, where I included all the best tracks, and they are absolutely magnificent, one song better than the other. The album is, like all of their works, outstanding; for me, the best tracks are "Scarlet Woman," "The Way Of The Left Hand," "Serpent Rainbow," and "The Shrine In The Gloom." Awesome, keep it up, rock on... P.S. Oh Defender85, would you mind leaving a comment on my review of Avenger? Thanks ;)

Thank you OleEinar and telespallabob! ;) It’s true telespallabob, I needed to take a break, I realized that unfortunately later.. a bit of absence made me forget it, anyway thanks for the trust ;)

Thank you so much Anatas, Bartleboom, and Hell, I appreciate your excellent comments and opinions ;)..it's true Bartle, I've been a bit absent lately, although I've visited the site now and then to check out the new reviews. Yes Anatas, if you want to get to know them well, I recommend "Blood Sports," even though "Killer Elite" isn't bad, but on that CD, the most beautiful tracks for me are "Run For Your Life," "Revenge Attack," and "Under The Hammer," the rest is nothing special. Maybe good old Hell might like "Killer Elite," which is a bit more thrash, but anyway, do as you please… the metal is guaranteed :D

Sepultura Chaos A.D.

My first purchased album by Sepultura, simply magnificent, even though the sound isn't purely thrash like "Arise" & Co. The Cavalera brothers are amazing...WAR FOR TERRITORY!

5 net, both for the rec, the band, and the album. They are simply amazing, an exceptional band that has truly given so much to the rock scene. Their tracks are phenomenal and this album, like "Lateralus," "Undertow," and "100 days," confirms it. ROCK ON!!
The Misfits Static Age

I don't know the album and I've listened to some Misfits, especially the big hits like "Die, die my darling," "Scream," and "Attitude." A great band nonetheless, deserving of respect.

BUT WHY, ACCORDING TO YOU, DON'T I LIKE VANADIUM, STRANA OFFICINA, BULLDOZER, DEATH SS, VANEXA, CRYING STEEL, ELEKTRADRIVE....?????? Don't talk nonsense, because I know Italian metal and I've reviewed many bands in that genre, just to pay tribute to them. Rhapsody don’t talk about dragons, ice knights and Co. because they were struck by their grandmother’s fairy tales as kids, but because the power epic genre requires this kind of lyrics. So if we think like that, we won't listen to Running Wild, Manowar, Iced Earth, Blind Guardian and Helloween anymore! I mean, you can't say that Rhapsody aren't good and hate them, because that's like shooting yourself in the foot! You can't hope that Italian metal becomes famous abroad if you then hate Rhapsody to death because they talk about dragons, Vanadium because they have Pino Scotto who is a joker, Death SS because they are satanic, and Crying Steel because they are identical to Judas Priest!! NO! Everyone has their own tastes; some won't appreciate Rhapsody's music, but you can't just go against them like this. Also remember that in comment no. 33 I only mentioned Rhapsody as famous bands abroad because I didn't want to repeat all the groups... but it was implied, given my tastes, that I was also referring to Vanadium, Strana...

Great bands and great music, no ifs or buts! I invite all the trendy kids and so on to go dig up these bands from the past... these guys had guts. Check out "Deliver Us" by Warlord, "Open The Gates" by Manilla Road, the early albums by Cirith Ungol and many others... not to mention Gamma Ray, the early Helloween, Running Wild, and Manowar. The title track above all.

I've heard them many times, some of their songs I like but I've never been a big fan. However, maximum respect... also because I often find myself playing "The Grand Conjuration" and headbanging. I don't know the album, though.
