I arrive at their period of "Snow" and "Windowpane". Here another phase is announced, even more cultured, and complete from the perspective of maturation. I've listened to this period less... I'll revisit the album and let you know!

The opening and closing tracks are the true triumph. The album perfectly embodies the art of Tangerine. "Atem" dives too deep into minimalism (see the break) and "Phaedra," in the title track, obsessively circles around that sonic circularity. They don't need to emulate the electronics of Kraftwerk or the freak avant-garde of Neu and Faust. Tangerine must be spatial, cosmic, and minimal, like "Zeit" :)
