It's true, Defender85, I forgot "Heavy Metal"! Damn, it's one of my favorite songs on the album, but due to a distraction, I missed it. Don't think I didn't include it because it's not noteworthy; on the contrary, it's one of the best. Anyway, it's a truly great track, no doubt about it—it's pure energy and power from Pino's voice and Prantera's riffs. Thank you for pointing it out to me!! WE ROCK! DEFENDER OF METAL!!

Thank you for the positive feedback on the review, but I'm sorry that some of you don't really like Vanadium. Just so you know, they were the first to have the guts to play metal in Italy over twenty-five years ago. You’re right that this album is more straightforward and mundane compared to the more complex "Born To Fight," "Game Over," and "A Race With The Devil," but it’s also not to be dismissed. For me, underestimating Vanadium, Crying Steel, or Strana Officina doesn’t seem fair, because they are the standard-bearers of metal abroad, not the crap we have today.

Very good review and the album, especially pieces like the title track and "The Black Widow."

Anyway, I like the Vanadium and I respect them, come on. They're better than the commercial groups of today (Finley, Tokio Hotel, Blue and Maroon 5), it’s a whole different genre. This is true rock 'n' roll. I don’t understand why some people hate them so much... tastes are tastes.

You are right, Effervescent Man, the Grim Reapers are nice but not very original.

Here we are again Defender85, the review is very nice, detailed, and heartfelt, especially for your disappointment with this not-so-great album. I happened to hear the video for "Temptation" on TV and other songs like "I Am The Torn," "Tonight In Flames," and "Dirge Inferno." I don't like it; their best albums are from the nineties, which is when they became famous. You were right to compare this period of COF with that of "Turbo" and "Painkiller" by Judas, emphasizing that the latter are made of a completely different stuff than the former. Let’s hope the next CD is better.

I also agree with ElectricOne, that is, if you don't like Debaser, change site, even though apart from metal in general, there are also many reviews on rock bands, prog, hard rock - blues, punk, new wave, dark - gothic, and ska. Of course, if you're looking for hardcore, house, or techno, you'll never find them, just to be clear. It depends on what you want.

I would really like to know from Kid b what kind of music or which bands he would like to see reviewed. I hope he doesn't want hip-hop or other nonsense... because otherwise he's got the wrong person.

Alright, I swapped the ratings, it would be 4 for the album and 3 for the review...

Even though the review is a bit short, it still manages to engage, capturing the true essence of the album. Great tracks like the title track, "Freezing Moon", "Funeral Fog", "Cursed In Eternity" or "Life Eternal" are incredible. This is my favorite album by Mayhem; I respect "Deathcrush" as an album, but I don't like it that much, except for a few tracks, maybe due to Dead's vocals. I find Dead's voice too exaggerated and screaming, while I prefer Attila's. Let it be clear that I still regard Dead as a vocalist.
