General Strike Danger in Paradise

The beautiful things. I didn't know the band. Here, they feel the echoes of Massacre (Laswell, Frith...) and "My life in the bush of ghosts," all with the classic dark tension of Eighties experimental music.
Third Ear Band Alchemy
Voto:
I've been listening to them for years. It's a nice struggle between this and the next one. For sure, "Alchemy" is more chameleonic, while "Elements" is more of a fluxus, at times lengthy (but for this genre, I prefer "Vuh" by Popol or "A rainbow..." by Riley).

Wow, this is unmissable!
Steve Reich Music for 18 Musicians

A fundamental album, especially for the solo Gottsching. I love "A rainbow in curved air." I also listen to "Departure from northern wasteland" by Hoenig from time to time.
Two Lone Swordsmen From the Double Gone Chapel

All in all, a nice piece of dub, trip hop from that era. They could have done better, that's for sure. The sound also reminds me of Stewart's early works with the Pop Group.

The beautiful jams that bring satisfaction.
Felt The Splendour Of Fear

For those who believe there is only the wave stereotype of the New Order sound, take a spin with the Felt ;)
Josef K The Only Fun in Town
Voto:
Unbiased advice: write it in paragraphs, that way you avoid a big block ;) the Josef K are one of those bands that still today remain unmatched by various Editors, Interpol... beautiful stuff!
Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention Absolutely Free

I've been listening to Zappa for years. I'm still intrigued by the "Overnite sensation" - "Sheik yerbouti" period (not to mention "Watermelon" on "Joe's garage"), even though "Freak out" - "We're only in it for the money" are an immense gift of Art ;)
Electronic Electronic

A nice but at the same time interesting project. Perhaps "Getting away with it" has a fresher vibe compared to some of the New Order's tracks after "True Faith." All in all, I don't feel like giving the album more than a 3. "Disappointed" is also quite charming (same reasoning as "Getting..." for some of the Pet Shop Boys' productions).
