Great Saint Vitus! With two albums, namely this one and "Born Too Late," they have marked the doom metal trend of the eighties. They are truly seminal for all the subsequent bands, like Candlemass! The album is really beautiful, featuring all stunning songs... a dark, gloomy, and malevolent sound! Perhaps you should have spent a few more words on the tracks, maybe describing them a bit more accurately, since there's been little coverage of Saint Vitus! ZOMBIE HUNGER!!

Another very beautiful and very important band...almost seminal for the doom-metal genre! "Death Penalty" is their best album...even though they only made two works, including this one and "Friends Of Hell", which had some good ideas. "Death Penalty" is a fabulous album waiting to be rediscovered and reappreciated...very interesting tracks include "Witchfinder General", the title track, "No Stayer", "Invisible Hate", in short, the whole CD! BURNING A SINNER!!

What is there to say about Blitzkrieg?? A tremendous N.W.O.B.H.M. band that, with just a few albums, especially "A Time Of Changes," has made its mark on British metal! Metallica owe a lot to them and to Diamond Head! The album is fantastic; just listen to the famous "Blitzkrieg," the stunning "Armageddon," and the beautiful "A Time Of Changes"! Three legendary tracks.

It’s true.. "Hail To England" is a bit cheesy, even though the covers of Manowar are all beautiful! "Painkiller," "Sin After Sin," "Ram It Down," and "Sad Wings Of Destiny" are the most beautiful covers by Judas.. and there are more where those came from!!

Yes, it's true, "Fear Of The Dark" is very beautiful.. "Imaginations From The Other Side" by Blind Guardian is spectacular as well, "Third Moon" by Fire Trails, "Peace Sells.. But Who's Buying?" by Megadeth.. there are many!

Good review.. I’ve only heard the album mentioned, but I know all the songs, especially those of the Beatles, along with "My Sweet Lord." George Harrison is an amazing guitarist, truly a legend.. just like the very talented Paul, Ringo, and the unforgettable John! To think that I started listening to music with the Beatles! It seems incredible, but it’s thanks to them that I now listen to metal and hard rock!!

Great Defender85, excellent review for a beautiful album by Kreator!! This seminal thrash metal band is one of my favorites in the genre, along with Slayer, Destruction, Metallica, Megadeth, Possessed, and many others... "Out Of The Dark..Into The Light" is a great piece of pure thrash..the standout tracks are "Terrible Certainty," "Riot Of Violence," "Flag Of Hate," and the super fast "Awakening Of The Gods." Oh, I wanted to ask if you managed to fix "Vibrations Of Doom"..let me know! As always, you are churning out great reviews on truly important bands! TORMENTOR!!
