Korn Life Is Peachy

I don't like the masks of Slipknot... I now find them a bit ridiculous, and I find it makes a bit more sense in some black metal bands, like Immortal and Cradle Of Filth... but Kiss had already done it thirty years ago, as far as heavy metal goes! Slipknot, however, have a sound that really rocks... I saw a live performance at a friend's place, and it's crazy! THE ERETICH ANTHEM!!

Bonny91 and CoolOras, I know very well, even though I'm not a fan of the genre or the band, that Korn played Nu-Metal from "Korn" to "See You On The Other Side," but the early works contained tracks that had a more metal edge, while the last album, with singles like "Twisted Transistor," has a slightly more commercial sound. That's all. Personally, I only like the hits from Korn, but I've never listened to entire albums... it's not my kind of music.

That's what I say too.. many people stream and download entire albums from bands like Lacuna Coil, of which I only like the songs "Heaven's A Lie" and "Swamped", but they should seek out and appreciate these Italian groups! They are the ones who "brought" metal to Italy; if it weren't for Vanadium & Co, who knows if this genre would even exist in our f***ing Country! Best regards!

Thank you supersoul, I'm moved too.. only a miracle could have made me put that 4 on your review.. so, just because we are in a Ramones review, I'll say: I BLELIEVE IN MIRACLES!! Bye.

Yes, in fact, I really don't like the recent works, the sound is too nu-metal! The earlier albums, on the other hand, are really great... so I wasn't mistaken. Thanks for the tip!

If you want to know the roots of punk, I strongly recommend the Ramones, the Clash, and the Sex Pistols, the great trilogy of 70s punk, even though there were bands like the Buzzcocks that weren't bad at all, with "Ever Fallen In Love" above all. Then, if you want, check out Rancid, the Offspring, and the others, but I really don't like current punk at all.

Oh yes Anatas, I’ve been listening to the seventies records lately and they are truly wild and powerful.. one song I've been hearing and that I like a lot is "Kings And Queen," a really exciting track!

Oh yes, did you hear it? Did you catch that powerful sound they have! The title track and "Angel Of Death" above all...
