On one hand, it cannot be said that Waters exhibits creative genius (which is indeed possible with More), but it is true that this search for new structures in the song form is an important reference point for the band's future. Various future choices, like in Wish You Were Here or in Animals, are almost a refinement of the happy intuitions of this album. They are Pink Floyd less lysergic than usual, but Gilmour's evergreen additions, Wright's delicate weavings, and Mason's ever-timely contributions ensure that this album, almost deliberately immature and absolutely unpretentious, remains a gem to be found in the Floydian treasure chest. Waters, deep and paranoid in his singing and lyrics, completes the picture. I found the film "La Vallèe" only in English and without subtitles. Has anyone happened to see it in Italian? Great review, concise and fitting.
