No, it’s not that DVDs are expensive because people don’t buy them... DVDs are expensive because of state taxes and various bullshit... honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever spend 30 euros on a DVD... I’d rather wait a year and look for it used... and in the meantime, I’ll download it... and fuck the taxes and extra charges... and as for music, bands live off CDs sure, but especially from tours and royalties... 30 euros... fuck off.

Now I’m listening to Husker Du... I think it was your suggestion. Then I’ll move on to the Melvins... although first I’ll re-listen carefully to Dinosaur and Wipers. I find that with the internet I can’t listen to albums the way I used to... over and over again... until I can catch every little nuance. In short, you gain on one side (I’ve downloaded a billion and a half bands) and you lose on the other (out of that billion and a half, few really hit me on the first listen—Wipers and Dinosaur Jr without a doubt), and so I unjustly miss out on them...

I say my piece... in music and for DVDs... first I download them... and I listen/watch them, then I see if they're worth it... after some junk I've stumbled upon, that's how it is... also, I find it much harder to buy a DVD (it really has to be worth it) than a CD... then there's always the second-hand issue, which is my saving grace.

Awesome, this album! I'm listening to it right now and it's my first time with the dinosaurs... really beautiful! Now I can't remember who recommended I listen to them during the fierce discussion on my review of Green River, but know that I thank him! And then he also recommended the Minutemen... another great band, damn! As for your reviews, donjunio5fixed, because you review all the stuff I like a ton!
