Scattered comments here and there on this review make it clear that:
- no one understood "villaggio," which is the best of the best.
- no one at the time understood Totò, who was nonetheless the best of the best.
- no one understands Franco and Ciccio, who were the best of the best.
- very likely, if Poletti had been born 30 years later, he would have said that Pierino was the best of the best.
- Poletti always needs to show off how intelligent he is; otherwise, he implodes.
- you can't give a 5 to Fantozzi because "if someone gives a 5 to a record for sentimental reasons, they get insulted, but if they give it to a movie, everything is fine" (heard from Poletti a million times).
- anything that's more than 30 years old is automatically awesome for Poletti + The Simpsons, so at least he doesn't feel old.
- this is a site for idiots (Poletti has said this millions of times).
- Poletti is a fool.
Now you can continue your passionate discussion with these solid points!

Poletti writes on a site for fools (he himself says so on several occasions) and expects someone to understand and comprehend him. NORMALITY is a concept of the majority, the norm of many and not the norm of just one. A certain Matheson said this some time ago.. so who is the fool?

@bodhisattiva: "Ghemison ... science fiction film. Okay the sci-fi... but it has to have at least a bit of credibility" ... but who said that? Have you ever seen a sci-fi film from the 50s? There are beautiful films with no credibility at all.
@Poletti: "It's a matter of taking Costner and sending him to any film school to learn the basics of directing and acting, and, while we're at it, screenwriting. A film that sinks. In every sense"... what does Costner have to do with screenwriting and directing that aren't his?
@workhorse: "I might be mistaken, but I think this was one of the most expensive films ever made, from which Costner seems to have only recovered financially a couple of years ago..." ... you're wrong. It's a classic urban legend. The film did poorly at the US box office but quickly recovered around the rest of the world and the rights for VHS and various merchandising. That said, I agree with Poletti when he says that after Dances with Wolves, Costner hasn't hit the mark since, but I wouldn't massacre this film that, in its genre, doesn't fare too badly as you want to make it seem.

"Many consider them the best"....then among the best phrases to throw around without even mentioning who 'many' are or at least the source from which such a phrase was taken, I also suggest: many musicians smoke weed...

without a doubt the best album post Piero. I agree with almost everything except for the rating (3 should be enough) and the ranking of the 3 post Piero albums (I switch the roles of "essere o sembrare" and "elettromacumba").
@matteowolf: war with Cabo is something horrifying but I don’t think it’s just his fault... in fact... that idiot Ghigo gives him a big hand!

"Comparing this film to the rhetoric of that Stone speaks volumes about your judgment ability, deneil, what would the rhetoric be in a film where there are four charred pieces of an American soldier in a coffin without the work coming from the Taliban monster? ...it's still rhetoric and you've been fooled like many by the falsehood of this product that aims to appear even as a contrarian product while instead perfectly adhering to all possible and imaginable clichés. Regarding the music, I was only referring to the final song, which I absolutely don’t know who it’s by (and I honestly couldn’t care less), but it's absolutely terrible placed there. The problem is that your "judgment ability" (please) is skewed by the names in play; if the music is by Isham then it’s great? Oh well... great judgment ability. That said, I’m really fed up trying in every way to make someone understand how this film is worth no more than a 5. If the first thing that person can say to me is that my judgment ability isn’t good, you know what a lovely discussion can come out of that. Bye."
