I'm going to Milan tomorrow to see them... I would be lying if I said I'm going specifically for them: I'm going mainly for the "support group," as mentioned in the review.
Honestly, right now I clearly prefer Symphony X over DT: their songs are more enjoyable, less showy, and I wouldn't bet my life that Petrucci & Co. are "in another category" when it comes to technique. We'll see... I'll comment again right after the concert.

However, it's nice to see 4 reviews 4 in a row for the same album on the homepage... I'm almost tempted to start listening to them so I can write one too.

If someone answered "no" to the first question, they probably need to reread it to understand the correct answer to give... (like zaireeka)

oops... I just noticed that I wrote BIRT instead of BIRTH in the album title... is it possible to correct it?
at least now this sentence looks like it's in Italian -__- sorry, it's the late hour that's taking its toll

Yes, "Tell Me Something..." is a bit atypical for them...even "Naked" all in all, with its almost jazz/blues verse...it's a strange album, meant to be listened to multiple times, really.

uhm..in fact, my vote would have been a 3.5, rounded up to 4 because after all, the Extremes are the Extremes and I love everything they've done; even if it took me a long time to appreciate some of it, like in the case of this album.

Yes, they got together for various concerts... you can find some videos online; it's Nuno, Gary, and Pat, I don't know who the drummer is... anyway, the story about the new album honestly seems a bit of a hoax to me, I wouldn’t give much credit to a "comeback," but who knows...

In the previous CD, there's a song called "God isn't Dead?" and here there's one called "There is no God," so there you go.. XD

They've made 4 albums... this is the third, their 4th and last will be "Waiting for the Punchline" (which by the way I just reviewed..small plug XD), although these days, after the reunions for various concerts, there are rumors of a possible return to the studio for a new CD... we'll see.
