Finding ONE influential group in all of rock is impossible; every genre has its key figures that have influenced it... Zep, in my opinion, are the most influential group in hard & heavy, as Page, with his huge riffs, has significantly impacted the guitarists to come, Plant is the archetype of the heavy singer, and Bonzo is the archetype of the metal drummer.
