You didn’t understand a thing. No one had the courage to give you a solid 1 precisely because no one grasped (and the reason is frankly due to a laughable ignorance) Spielberg's strong intertextuality. To see and to know has a different flavor. Just like when you look at a Mondrian painting and as a novice, you see only colored squares, but you completely miss what’s behind it (conceptually) and you wouldn’t spend 10 euros to have it (but it’s worth 1,000,000). This is an open critique not exactly of Banana (the author of the review), but of the various (sadly uniformed faces) who gave it a 4 without understanding a damn thing about cinema.

carl marx, this is a site made up of people who eventually (sooner or later, if they like each other) meet, a site whose mission is intentionally light-hearted, playful, mischievous. no one is a journalist or a professional critic. rather, meeting and sharing "one's own" is the main purpose. the human exchange, the confrontation, happens only through the user's filter. Sorry, but I didn't like this review at all (at least the first part). I found it heavy, unclear, it didn't entice me to read, it didn't bring me closer to the film, it conveyed nothing to me. I find it full of self-satisfaction (skilled, mind you). I don't give a rating because I don't want to be too harsh, just wanted to share my thoughts; maybe to let you know that I struggled a lot to get to the end and gained little from it. I've seen Fargo, and I enjoyed it. Perhaps after seeing this one, I'll see if all this vagueness (I need straightforward things) that I read here clears up, and maybe I'll appreciate your writing more. Bye.
