But how is this review written? I don't know, anyway I don't want to say anything about the album. Because sooner or later I will write a second review about it.

Look, maybe I exaggerated, but maybe I didn't. It’s just that I find these guys ridiculously unbelievable, really, they seem a bit like death metal for little satanic kids. Musically, they’re fun in small doses, and an album like "Legion" (released almost twenty years ago…) I would gladly put on when I want to spend 29 minutes of pure devastation. But the fun ends there. The problem is that, including this new work, their discography counts eight other albums spread over two decades of career; the same old tired routine repeated for eight identical albums, even in the covers (and there's always some poor sucker in a pool of blood, and the upside-down cross, and the 666 towering above, and the skulls and skeletons, but come on guys, how about a chamomile tea and playing with Gormiti instead?!), the usual pseudo-iconoclastic mishmash with profound lyrics like "666, fuck god, satan yoaaaaaaaaarrrg." For some, it might be a quality called "coherence," but for me, it’s simply a terrible tragicomedy, whose equally terrible actors are moreover completely convinced of what they bring to the stage. Wasn’t Glen Benton the one who branded a reversed cross on his forehead?! Come on... Not even a shred of self-irony. I guess when people think of brutal metal for spastic kids, they’re really referring to these guys… Oh dear.

Stale profession, zero ideas, originality forgotten in the attic. They’ve broken my balls. 1.

Great review really, I agree 100%! This album perfectly represents one of the many evolutions that BM has undergone in recent years... Keep it up!

Ok. The initial impact with this album left me rather perplexed: daunting track length, a voice that straddles the line between unbearable and enchanting; in short, it wasn't immediate at all. Now, after a few months and a ton of listening sessions, I can say that it's simply perfect and sublime from the first to the last note. Officially among my all-time favorite albums!

Well, suddenly this review has turned into mere provocation. As if... Getting back to more serious matters, 4 stretched out for the record, if I really wanted to be picky I’d give it a 3.7. Sometimes it sounds a bit messy and inconclusive, other times extraordinarily refined and intriguing... Who knows! What’s certain is that in terms of composition they could have pushed themselves (a good) bit more. I’ll probably come back for the next review to reconsider and give it a 2-3, who knows.

Overall, it seemed to me a decent work, enjoyable, although 2-3 tracks made me yawn like a hippopotamus, I won't deny it. Of course, I’ll need to give it another round of listens, so for now, no definitive judgment...
