P.S. Sorry if I was overly brief.

@Flo, then philanthropy clings to your trembling wrinkles as you savor the intricate reverberations of the obviating wind placed upon the metaphilanthropic path that strays from the recondite intraexistential dreamers, timidly filled with tuna and jocca (ide-ah-ah-ah), never languishing under adverse fortune and, thus, hermetically sealed by the distorted transcendent. This is the anathema hermenegildo.

All in all, a nice album (4 out of 5), perhaps a bit too sentimental and whiny in some parts ("Angels Walk Among Us," "Dreaming Light.."). Definitely more "sunny," serene, and immediate than the introspective "A Natural Disaster," yet it remains undeniably 100% Anathema. I didn't understand almost anything of at least three-quarters of the review.

You snatched the review from me; I wanted to write it myself after listening to the album... Oh well, amen. Anyway, the TA are my friends; I was still stuck on their demo from three years ago, which was a pretty great "appetizer." I imagine they've made a big leap in quality with this debut. I'll listen to it with pleasure. 5 based on trust. :)

How many concise votes I see :) in my opinion, the album has the flaw of concentrating all the good ideas in the first three tracks, then "Abysses" is an interlude that almost doesn't count, "Solar Song" is a pleasant "nocturnal" reinterpretation (despite the title) of the atmospheres from "Souvenirs," and the last track is a long, powerful ballad that feels like an outro that arrives a bit too soon. Still, it's a nice experience.

3, right on the edge. The arrangements are truly intriguing, but far too often ruined by Carmelo's utterly flat and nasal voice, which at times is really annoying! What a shame.

If I can blast through "Mystic Chords & Sacred Spaces" by Roach in one go, this will be a walk in the park! Slurp..!

Not my favorite, Brian has done better, but it's still pretty good. I give a 3.5 to both. Lustmord reigns!
