Yes, but the NERDs were also terribly boring; it's not that just because something is original it also has impact, you know...

Anyway, I'm scared; it's been almost 24 hours since new reviews have been published.. in my opinion, there are at least 4 more of this album in line...

On Furtado, the reinterpretation has had the effect of keeping her alive (in the show, that is) and even back in her first album, you could notice predispositions towards the Hip-Hop and R'n'B world (remember "Turn off the Light," for example). As for Pharrell, I didn’t mean to undervalue him; my impression is that a lot of Pharrell's "originality" is somewhat self-serving and not very functional to the songs, while Timbaland seems, although definitely less "imaginative," more focused on making the song system work rather than getting lost in self-congratulatory elaborations. But keep loving me anyway, okay? Even if I think this way ;-) (ah..got it)

No, no, you’ve been tricked, that’s the point. He did interpret it and was crushed by it, with the dire consequences we know.

"EWS" is a classic fake-intelligent movie (and before you point it out, the adjective refers only to the film, not those who appreciate it) which, behind a facade of supposed depth, hides an unsettling emptiness—in terms of plot, acting (and given the protagonists, it was inevitable), and a script that often lacks coherence and is contrived in its more "scandalous" events to bypass obvious narrative dead ends. That said, it remains a Kubrick film nonetheless, and the director's mark is evident in the cinematography and camera movements, but his influence stops there; the rest is boringly and terribly empty.

I must respectfully disagree; I don't think Furtado's singles are ruined by Timbaland (if it weren't for him, the young lady would have probably disappeared by now). While you may be right about the sounds, it has to be said that they are a unique and almost inimitable trademark, and even if he didn't create it entirely himself, he certainly contributed a lot to it. I'm not sure you can say the same about Pharrell, who seems more homogenized to me (just my personal opinion, of course).

And how did you fall into the mistake of reevaluating him?
