The radio is saying that
it's better if you stay home
there's someone out there who
didn't make it into your Polaroids
No saints or assassins
nor, in any case, just one thing
Don't open the door to slightly uncomfortable guests!
The radio is saying that
someone is hard to catch
and that it seems there's someone in town
who has never made it on TV
No party meat,
nor market research
How are you, let us know,
when you're facing
the writing on the wall?
Watch out, the "boys" are around!
The radio is saying that
someone doesn't even take note of you
someone never forgets
who you've always been and who you'll be next
there's someone off-key outside
don't talk to the stranger
to those passing by and greeting you
right in the middle of
that ugly thought of yours
Watch out, the "boys" are around!
From the radio to the houses
"there are those who roam and don't apologize!"
can you tell us what you do
to those who piss in
your most beautiful cemetery?
The "boys" are around!

Marco has gone and won’t come back
And the 7:30 train without him
Is a heart of metal without a soul
In the cold of the gray morning of the city
At school the desk is empty, Marco is inside me
His sweet breath among my thoughts
Enormous distances seem to divide us
But my heart beats strong inside me
Who knows if you’ll think of me
If you never talk to your own
If you hide like I do
Avoiding gazes and keeping to yourself
Shut in your room and don’t want to eat
You hold the pillow tight to you
You cry and you don’t know how much more pain solitude will bring you
Marco in my diary, I have a photograph
You have the eyes of a shy child
I hold it tight to my heart and feel that you are there
Among the English and math homework
Your father and his advice, what monotony
He with his work has taken you away
Certainly, he never asked for your opinion
He said, "One day you will understand me"
Who knows if you’ll think of me
If you’ll talk to your friends
To stop suffering for me
But you know it’s not easy
I can’t take it anymore at school
And the afternoons without you
Studying is useless, all my thoughts crowd around you
It’s not possible to divide the life of us two
Please wait for me, my love...
But I don’t know how to give you false hopes!
The solitude between us
This silence inside me
Is the uneasiness of living life without you
Please wait for me because
I can’t be without you
It’s not possible to divide the story of us two

Everyday stories
old discussions still to be had
stories parked on benches
waiting for a happy ending
stories of us good people
who struggle and fall in love with nothing
the same old life but grand ideas in mind.
One more day slipping away
a clock stopped for an eternity
for all those just like us
always racing, always halfway
one more day that now fades
with this love that isn't as great as I'd like.
Stories like lost friends
who change paths if you greet them
stories that make no noise
like a room locked away
stories that have no future
like a small dot on a big wall
where we could write a line to a woman who's no longer here.
One more day slipping away
and a tired man that no one will listen to
for all those just like us
without triumphs or big troubles
one more day that now fades
with this love that isn't as beautiful as I'd like.
Stories like rings of smoke
in a faraway place with no one around
just a night that never ends.
One more day slipping away
forgotten among the city's noise
for all those just like us
nothing has changed, nothing will change
one more day that now fades
with this love that isn't as strong as I'd like.

Come on guys, or they’ll think that Venetians are a bit cranky (and maybe it’s true...), anyway I wouldn’t overlook the idea of a private chat between you two...

I just say that you managed to have Comrade Epifani written in lowercase... and that's serious...

The problem is that on this site, too many people speak only from hearsay and/or from what they've read (forgive my neologism), and these beautiful things (your review) are either overlooked or trashed. Unfortunately, that's the risk of a site that has very few (if any) rules, but it's also the reason why we all love it, and sometimes you just have to put up with it. I completely agree with Ghemison's point; in my reviews, I rarely get to 20 comments. I make one about Maiden, for personal reasons, and what happens? 240 comments in 24 hours, many of which are just people looking for unnecessary conflict (but it was a risk I was willing to take). So don’t take it personally if there are some annoying people; just keep doing your thing because you’re good. The review would deserve a 4, but I’ll give you a 5 out of respect. I’ve only had the album for a short time and listened to it too hastily to give you my thoughts; I’ll go back to it. (If I may ask, I’m the former cptgaio with the temporary nick-crisalide.) Bye!
