She could have done better; she had the voice for it. But she didn't.

I agree with the Punisher in his comment no. 18.
Cesare Cremonini Maggese

Zucchero has always copied, Cremonini hasn't. Write: Cesarone sings songs for losers and for brainless girls... why do you consider the kids who listen to him brainless? Should they be listening to Motörhead or Tim Buckley? If you have anything to say, I can only respond to you tomorrow or Monday.
Lucio Battisti Emozioni
Voto:
It's not just Zucchero who copies; even "Una Donna Per Amico" by Battisti was originally a Roman stornello. The song by Don Baky (or another one of the same) bears a striking resemblance to "I Put a Spell on You" by Screamin' Jay Hawkins. The same Pilat, the author of the music for "Nessuno Mi Può Giudicare," showed how he changed the melody of another song, turning it into Caselli's hit. And how many more... If anyone wants to add something to this comment, I'll take a look tomorrow.
Alex Chilton A Man Called Destruction

In my opinion, he reached his peak with Big Star. As you also point out, his solo career has had its ups and downs. I have the vinyl Like Files On Sherbert, which I'm somewhat convinced by.

Iside, don’t put me on a cross. I adore Dean Martin, the slurred way he sang... When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie. That’s amore. When the world seems to shine like you’ve had too much wine. That’s amore. Bells will ring ting-a-ling-a-ling, ting-a-ling-a-ling. And you’ll sing “Vita Bella” Hearts will play tippy-tippy-tay, tippy-tippy-tay. Like a gay tarantella... Translated: When the moon hits your eye like a big slice of pizza. That’s love. When the world seems to shine like you’ve had too much wine. That’s love. The bells will ring, dlin dlon dlin dlon. And you will sing, “Vita bella” Hearts will beat a boom boom. Like a cheerful tarantella... The lyrics are silly like many of Elio e le Storie Tese, but if you present them with style, personality, it works. (In my opinion)
