Poetic at times, it’s not his best film, prophetic in some ways about the decline of Italy, it should be watched multiple times to be fully appreciated. The fellinian topoi are all there... but it lacks the SEA. Some scenes, like the one of the captured Moon, or the one with the dwarf - mini-Berlusconi - rich and vulgar, owner of TV stations, are outstanding. Benigni out of role, like a village.
