Anyway, Dog Man Star is more complicated to listen to, while Coming Up is much more pop and accessible. You can decide where you want to start.

@ Gallagher: the best with Butler is "Dog Man Star," without Butler it's Coming Up. I still recommend listening to the first two (Suede and Dog Man Star), essential for understanding where the britpop phenomenon begins.

Well, the fact remains that at this rate, he will end up like Lopez (at risk of getting fired by the record label).

@Marcounali: even if it’s at 5 instead of four, the fact remains that it has sold almost half of the previous one. If it drops from 16, to 8 and then to 5, does it seem like growth or decline to you?

Horrible album, When I'm Gone the worst. Superbly written review.

Yes, Blackdog, indeed Osborne's production is excellent, particularly (in my opinion) in Down and Electricity.

The review is excellently written, the album is terrible, starting with that abortion of "When I'm gone."
Suede Head Music

@DADOSH: I personally find Down superior to both, and Indian Strings better than He's Gone (which doesn't excite me). As for Elephant Man, I still can't figure out if it's crap or a stroke of genius... :D
Suede Head Music

@donjunio: yes, I can confirm that. The tracks from Head Music written entirely by him are: Savoir Faire, Head Music, Hi-Fi, Indian Strings, and Crack In The Union Jack. Electricity was written with Codling and Oakes. Can't Get Enough, She's In Fashion, Asbestos, and He's Gone were done with Codling. Everything Will Flow and Down with Oakes. Elephant Man is entirely by Codling. Regards.
