Stunning. Much better than mine, in my opinion (if it gets published). For me, the album deserves a 5 for the reasons I will explain.

I’m calling the bet for the second single: for me, it’s Hollow Man.

@ Nick: Nick, I think that at least the first round is inevitable. When I sent it, there was only one (!) and, it seems, Blackdog sent one too. Unfortunately, I can't review an album after just ten minutes and one listen like many do; I had to listen to it at least ten or fifteen times to give an accurate account. It's just that, more than duplicates, we should avoid racing to be the first. It's inevitable that an eagerly awaited album like this will generate attention and a desire to talk about it. Especially since it's a pretty significant comeback, in my opinion. That's how I see it, and I hope that if you give me a one (assuming they publish it) it will be because the review sucks and not for any other reason. :)

It was released on Friday in Italy. Then I quote Alessio, in the de-genres I would (and I have) simply put rock. If REM are indie, what are Architecture In Helsinki?

I reviewed it, so the reason why for me it’s a five I wrote in my upcoming review. Yours is good.

I don't agree with a single syllable, but you write very well. Love Boat Captain is a masterpiece, I Am Mine is a great track. The rest is average.

In my opinion, the artistic peak of Radiohead is The Bends, while the rubbish is Hail To The Thief. For Ok Computer, four and a half rounded down. Ah, if this is pop, the Aqua are prog metal.

@ maryg: the Welsh scene is very valid and original. It's clear that everyone has their favorites.

@ Orwell: you must have listened to Sticking Fingers Into Sockets. This is still better.

So I won't reply, Ale. :D By the way, I heard a bunch of covers played by Biffy. Not bad, they range from Umbrella by Rihanna (by the way, the Manics actually released it as a single) to When You Were Young by the Killers.
