Hi Mopy. As I already mentioned in the review, Miss You is the only "comeback" from the Echo Park period.

@ uhuhpanicouhuh; yes, but at Heineken they also disrespected people like Mercury Rev, so the reliability of the average audience at the "beer festival" doesn't seem that calibrated to me (I'm not referring to you, of course, since you have excellent taste, it seems).

@ mien: yes, that is undoubtedly a loud piece of crap. :)

I wrote and produced the album myself; I didn't need it to be released! :D Jokes aside, I was too tempted to send it out, and in the end, I couldn't resist, but I’ve had it ready for two weeks. Now, let’s talk about the album: it’s undeniably a notch above Echo Park. It’s primarily more consistent in quality (in Echo you went from stunning tracks like Seven Days to semi-duds like We Can't Rewind, whereas here the only less convincing track is We Are The People; everything else consistently stays above average, peaking with Sonorous). Then there's the Buck Rogers discussion: it's definitely among the top twenty songs by Feeder, but certainly not the best. The sound of the guitars, though, is of such devastating power that I haven’t heard in one of their tracks for a long time. I consider Silent their second best album; anyway, here’s my personal ranking: 1-COMFORT IN SOUND 2-SILENT CRY 3-ECHO PARK 4-POLYTHENE 5-YESTERDAY WENT TOO SOON 6-PUSHING THE SENSES.

@ pistolpete: instead of writing "mah," why don't you name names, so we can discuss it?

@ babaz: on June 16, 2008, the album will be released. The first single previews it a week earlier, featuring two new tracks as b-sides ("Calling Out For Days" and "Somewhere To Call Your Own"). "Miss You" has been available for free download from the official website since March 3.

It may not be a masterpiece, but damn, come on! Are we joking? Anyway, the review is written very well, even though I don’t agree with a syllable.

I've already stated my opinion in a review, I’ll just reiterate. A couple of three.

@ Tomgil: the reference to Knights... is only regarding the title track, anyway.
