Damn, what chaos! All this commotion and this string of 1s? I didn't think this review would cause such a stir. As a sidenote: I apologize for the double post, but I wanted to review it because, in my opinion, this album has been too underrated. Anyway, I'm not generally a fan of American bands, especially not of Grunge, but I listened to this one with pleasure. To each their own!

For godbowl: sorry, but I think this album has to do with britpop only by about 10 percent. Just The Way I'm Feeling by Wonderwall has only the initial chord progression; then the song develops in a totally different way (at times, without blaspheming, perhaps even better). As for the rest, the influences seem more American than British to me. And then you can talk about second and third hand stuff regarding the awful cloned bands that are around now (latest being The View, not sure if you've heard them, they are terrible!), if all British albums were like this, we wouldn't be at the pitiful levels we are now.
