1) If music could be fully described with words, then it would be pointless to play and listen to music. 2) I detest reviews. 3) After reading reviews that chop my balls in all the languages about this record (whether it be Pitchfork, the history of music or Ondarock, it makes no difference) where they all repeated that Oneida were paying homage to kraut and blablabla and so on, I realized that trying to describe the music of this album is a foolish endeavor because this album is not music. It's rather a journey... and then to describe precisely this music that for 14 minutes holds the same loop, based on the obsessive repetition of the same notes, always the same, a bit more intense, a bit less intense, would have been a telegram and not a review. Frankly, I find what I’ve written fitting and more effective than a conventional review; then, as Sciascia would say, to each their own.

Kosmo, I read somewhere that the total film will be a trilogy and that the next record will be a triple vinyl (I can't remember if it's vinyl or even CD)... in short, there will be a nice nine-hour Russian movie. Get ready with six kilos of popcorn, as we will need it.

one of my all-time favorite groups... but I need to be in the right frame of mind to truly experience them (not just listen). The review is excellent and provides a key to understanding the mess of the new up-and-comers (just kidding).

I don't avoid people; I just don’t know anyone who spends their evenings in front of the TV... I think it’s more about astrological conjunction than choice. What are you generalizing about? Well, quite a bit, but I don’t want to do this "you vs. me" thing. I just want to emphasize that a four means a good record, not a milestone... there are even people who rate Queen a 4 (just a joke, don’t sue me). It’s the world that’s strange, not very varied, but strange. I just want to push back on the fact that it’s praised because that’s just a load of nonsense. Think about it, get a good night’s sleep, and compare its fame and reputation with those of various De Gregori, De André, Battisti, Guccini, Fossati, and the like. It doesn’t seem to me; in fact, it has the aura of a caricature of the music business, a village idiot singing nonsense... let’s say that the opinion of the majority, the one that by definition praises, is your opinion; in practice, you’re the one doing the praising.
