In my opinion, the only one who was worthy of May Day was Rivera.

In an interview, he defines it as his bible... and I absolutely believe that's true. I mean, to me, that's the dimension of the Melvins... that is, a highly deviant punk.

Alright, take my line out of the historical context, and who cares that rock is 50 years old!!!

Honestly, I would have preferred anyone else for the simple fact that they have nothing to do with May Day (politically, I mean)... absolutely nothing... I'm sorry to say it, but at this point, I would have preferred Ligabue... Anyway, I think Venditti would have been perfect as the headliner... politicized, national-popular, emotional. Damn, why does this old guy have to come here, playing his songs for 50 years, just to be a pain in the ass?

Sure, I know the old man in question... but only by reputation... I make sure to avoid getting to know him properly. Anyway, this May Day was way too boring... but why not put on two serious bands... I mean what a drag... even the Afterhours... like seriously, can they participate every year? What the hell!

It will be an institution… nothing to say… in fact, I don't even know him. My thought is: what the hell does an 80-year-old American have to do with May Day? What the hell? But let's give some space to Italians who aren't the usual Velvet, Bandabardò, and Afterhours! Enough with this crap!!!

I made a mistake in my vote, the review is not bad... I agree up until the part about the old man... he made me want to puke. It would be a 3, so I’ll average it out.

the ugliest May Day in history... what the hell does the old man have to do with the May Day concert, nobody knows! Then having that bunch of half-assed English musicians play at the start was truly an insult. Anyway, May Day has become an institution and, as such, it's starting to suck. The same people are always around, round and round. Enough.
