Jamal mainly listens to American indie from the 80s and 90s, plus a good dose of hardcore and post-hardcore (a genre where the great musicians... the real ones and not the posers who get lost in inconclusive third-type solos) and has a preference for Italian singer-songwriter music and PFM.

who says that an album is crap just because it sells!?! superunknown is beautiful, even if I prefer badmotorfinger, and I grew up with R.E.M. blood sugar sex magic isn't for me, but I recognize that it's a great album. pearl jam and smashing pumpkins make me incredibly sad...just crap

Anyway, justice... given the chart of your current listens, are you really convinced that Petrucci is better than Cobain or that Portnoy is better than Dale Crover? Denilson used to dribble millions with a mandarin... Inzaghi doesn't even know how to control a ball and does that little. I think the comparison is both questionable and valid. Dream Theater is just fluff... good for the gullible.
