Anyway, grunge is crap. For a huge band like Nirvana, there are millions of crap bands (Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Smashing Pumpkins, etc.). Out of the entire grunge era, the deserving ones, for me, are Nirvana, Melvins, Tad, Mudhoney, Soundgarden (even though I don’t like them much). So, grunge doesn’t exist. There are a ton of mediocre bands and 4 or 5 heavyweights. That’s how I see it.

Flinstone, not to poke my nose into other people's business, but I understand Iside... you see, maybe you live in Moscow and don’t realize it, but in Italy, currently, those who commit crimes become stars. Gregoraci, Corona, Vallettopoli, Lele Mora, Fiorani, Moggi... I mean, we’re fed up with these pathetic little divas. Pavarotti had talent, but to me, he remains a great tax evader... now my question is this: Pavarotti found out he had pancreatic cancer last July, in the same week my grandmother found out, yet he lived seven months longer. Why do you think? For the treatments he paid for with the money he evaded, and maybe with the money he got from evaded taxes, just think how many people could have been treated or helped or assisted. That said, Pavarotti is not an artist. He sang crap written centuries ago. He didn’t create anything, and the artist is the one who creates; otherwise, all cover bands would be packed full of artists. It seems obvious and trivial to me. Now, I’m out of here!

Carlo Verdone Compagni Di Scuola

Carlo Verdone is a legend... I don't know if you've noticed, but nobody looks bad next to him (Muccino, Gerini...) and we're not talking about De Niro or Al Pacino. Right now, for me, he's the best Italian comic actor... at least the only one who manages to make me laugh.

What are you talking about??? Ferretti really knows how to work with words... so much that he managed to write slogans that, even as years go by, remain strong in their meaning and always relevant. Now, it's not a competition, and it's not resolved by saying first De André, second Ferretti, third Emilio Fede, but it did have its value. Not anymore, especially from a literary perspective. Ferretti loves to chant, and he does it brilliantly, and in Italy, no one has managed to insert such powerful phrases into a song that stick with you from the very first listen and forever.

You call, definitely, ā€œwhere’s it goneā€¦ā€ but when they opened the park. Now it’s always closed… well, then one says ā€œparkā€ and a foreigner wonders what to think. In reality, they should have called it ā€œaiula gigante robinson.ā€
