if there were thirty million people like me... for me, downloading is not a crime. culture should be free and accessible. records like books. a CD costs 1 euro to print, and then they sell it for over 20 euros... this is theft. asking 80 euros for a university book is plain and simple theft... anyway, for all the university students who feed on photocopied books... there is this portal: www.libreremo.org ...if you’re a bit lucky, you might end up with free books. anonymous, come out of anonymity, what could it be!

Downloading music for personal use, like drugs, is legal... this follows a ruling from the Supreme Court. In any case, it seems to me a gross absurdity. What does the receipt for an ice cream have to do with a check for 25 billion lire??? Tax evasion is a scourge, but what bothers me most is this sanctification of thieves, whores, extortionists, and tax evaders, in the name of gossip and pop culture.

Flinstone is different... Dietrich didn't do anything immoral at all. If some uptight moralist is shocked by something like that, that's their problem. Even though I don't understand: does Dietrich like pussy? Who cares. But Bigpanzaluciano evaded taxes and then wrote a check for 25 billion lire. For me, tax evasion is very different from expressing one's personal taste.

flistone, I'm sorry, it's different. If Dietrich entertained us with her antics, what's the harm??? She didn’t steal money from anyone and didn’t do anything wrong. Stealing money from ordinary people (because that's what tax evasion does) is a fucked-up action that doesn't challenge the moralistic views of the common man. It smacks right in the face of it. Sorry, but you picked the wrong example... it's like saying: Freddy Mercury died, but who gives a damn. He was an asshole and therefore a piece of shit. The two things are not consequential.

yeah. nick reviewing tim burton, another romantic soul, fits perfectly... anyway, thanks to the review of la sottile linea rossa I watched the film. I still have my chin on the floor... do you ever feel lonely? only when I'm surrounded by people. great shit.

uh-oh: the user nickghostdrake is using an editorial as a comment...and to make matters worse, without citing himself.

You're right, but it's not fair that you only get one aspect. He's the great opera singer, but also the great tax evader. That's it.
