forgive my ignorance... but what does road movie mean? I mean, I know the meaning, but could "Uccellacci e uccellini" be considered a road movie??? After all, Totò and Ninetto wander along the outskirts... I don't know, I mean, enlighten me if you want.

but are you talking to me? snobbery? how can I be snobbish if I've even seen them live... I mean, I got off the couch, traveled a bunch of kilometers, bought a couple of beers, and watched them from behind at the Mirò gardens... result: two and a half hours of pure boredom. that's it. they don't really impress me that much, and honestly, I prefer other records produced in Italy. I don't think I'm snobbish. if I were snobbish, I'd say they suck and that’s it, but I didn't say that. I said these Italian Weezer are nice, nice and nothing more.

dividing opinions sucks... I agree with the know-it-all. nowadays the term indie seems synonymous with easy-peasy and cheerful music. I saw the Canadians opening for Giardini di Mirò: a boring experience.

I haven't listened to the album, but I saw them live this summer. They seemed to me like the melancholic version of Weezer, and I don't even like Weezer. Good band...nothing special.
