It should be added that my words come from someone who was saved by nevermind... without those 36,000 lire, I would probably be either dead or who knows where, and like me, there are many other people. So, when certain things are put into question, I react strongly. nevermind is just music, but the best, FOR ME, that has ever been condensed into a single album. That’s it and nothing more.

Captain, allow me, but you haven't understood the Nirvana phenomenon, the so-called cultural phenomenon, the music, nor the attitude. Now, I don't want to dwell on this, but they were honest people who played hundreds of concerts before finally getting somewhere... You say it was all manufactured? I reply that you don’t know many things. Geffen believed that, at best, with a huge amount of luck and all the planets aligned, Nevermind could sell a maximum of 500,000 copies. For the Smells Like Teen Spirit video, they chose a debuting director because Geffen didn’t want to spend money... At the Nevermind party, the guys got drunk and were kicked out by security who didn’t know who they were. You’re talking about a genuine band like there are millions of others, but with a talent that is rarely seen. Oh, I don't want to stir up controversy or offend you, but my opinion is that you haven’t understood them. Not because you’re stupid, but because things happen without the thought that they have to happen... They didn’t just take everything from you here, but these discussions about the honesty of a person who shot themselves because they felt caught in an unstoppable mechanism really annoy me. Without MTV, would they have had all this success? Who cares. Cobain is the greatest songwriter of his generation, and for once, meritocracy went where it was supposed to go. I apologize if I’ve been bothersome. Bye.

so much of a free thinker that you stick to the judgment a friend of yours has about a book? Well done, we're doing great... in these terms, you're not even a thinker.

same for me... beautiful album. I’d say the only flaw is the lack of bass. damn, with some creamy bass it could’ve blown the floors away

"If we're not well-versed in a certain topic, let's avoid shooting nonsense..." you might not have noticed, and maybe you don’t know, but these guys have been going around with the same album for twenty years... they have released seven records with EMI thanks to the Mother Love Bone contract, and we're still talking about consistency and a war against the music business... come on, stop firing invectives on a page that's more than worthy where rather experienced users, particularly in this genre and, in general, in music, exchange peaceful opinions that are by no means offensive about a crappy band like Pearl Jam. I stand by my opinions: they are excellent craftsmen, but artistically my dog is worth more... not coincidentally, my favorite album (if you can call it that) by Pearl Jam is On Two Legs... oh, want to know the names of those who, twenty years later, are still releasing great albums??? Ever heard of people like MELVINS, DINOSAUR JR, SONIC YOUTH, MOTORPSYCHO, NO MEANS NO?

The best is Steve Albini, who is not even a producer... the others fade away in comparison. O'Brien I don't like at all, and Wallace is no longer a producer either. He now only limits himself to mixing the master of any record (with cold and superlative results). I repeat: The Best of the Colosseum is Steve Albini, who is the Maradona of recording studios... everyone fades away in comparison.
