Camorra, Mafia, and 'Ndrangheta bring in about 50 billion euros a year, a third of Italy's GDP, and it's pointless to add that this money is mostly invested in those regions where people fortify their villas. Laugh all you want, only the murderers see a rosy future.

the south is much more advanced than Veneto (I’m just using a random example) which lets itself be fucked like a child by their fucking xenophobia. we are not xenophobic towards anyone because we know we are the last, we are more open-minded, we are the true engine of Italy, we are the real entrepreneurs and the fairy tales read in Verga's books can stay with you who only look like fools (once again).

good job nathan what's the point of listening to oasis when you have all of American underground at your disposal... life is short, you shouldn't waste time. what's the point of eating a shit cone when I can spread a nice scoop of hazelnut on it? ;)

Yes, they are not true!!! :)
Great, I love how you shred those wannabes. Anyway, I've noticed three horrifying things: 1) These indie-rockers who do Christian family-friendly indie rock are all incredibly arrogant and pretentious even though they really suck. 2) They all have a love for Oasis, and while coprophagia isn't a nice thing, at least it explains why they make crap music. 3) You talk to me about Manchester and you don’t mention the only two, let's say three, that I like... which are Gomez and Joy Division. These are things you just don’t do, you know!!!

Still talking about modest groups, shall we talk about honesty? Let’s talk about honesty! Pearl Jam had a contract for seven LPs with a major even before they existed, Alice in Chains were devoted to a rather economical and commercial hard rock before the "grunge" boom. In short, those records are to be ignored, and as far as I'm concerned, apart from Nirvana, Tad, and Melvins, there’s very little "grunge" left... Of course, de-gustibus bla bla bla, but they were all a bit like that, so there’s no point in whining and gossiping: just listen carefully. You can even record with Albini, but that won't give you a tone (who said Bush?). What matters are the songs, and Stone Temple Pilots just suck, plain and simple. At least in this they didn’t compromise!

Damn, if "Rockin' in the Free World" is Neil's most punk piece, then I'm Bob Kennedy! And then: Eddie Vedder is to Neil Young what Fausto Bertinotti is to Lenin. And what the hell, a little respect for the boss of rock, the Provenzano. These comparisons bring him down to an earthly dimension he doesn't belong to (since he's far beyond it) and they undermine him because Eddie Vedder doesn't have it, and those who don't have it can't certainly create it. He can occasionally rise above mediocrity, but he has nothing in common with Neil. And what the hell: RESPECT.
