Paul is unique; with very little expense, he can write genuine masterpieces, and sometimes he complicates his life to write absolute nonsense.
Eric Burdon & The Animals Winds Of Change

I have always been fascinated by Burdon's voice, and I don't know whether I prefer it to Jagger's; they both have a distinctive tone, a kind of kinship that connects them.

They surpassed Madonna's level right from the start, do you remember when Lennon said they had reached that of Christ?

"A new era had begun, and the dirigible started to fly"... strange, on the cover I see it is crashing.

I was talking about the taste, the ability to keep you listening for hours without getting bored, without repeating yourself, the fluidity of sound which I prefer to the other three... then if we talk about artistic personalities understood in their entirety, Clapton and Page are superior. Hendrix is on another planet.

As a pure guitarist, Mick Taylor is perhaps (personal opinion) superior to the triad of Beck, Clapton, and Page. A fluid guitarist who was never repetitive... and he made few mistakes. He was a true treasure for the Stones; it's a shame that many of his ideas were discarded by Richards to be reworked in his own way.

@ where did you read them? @ rocknrollsuicide, did I ever say I was a fan of the Beatles, aside from jokes? One can't be opposed to the scientific knowledge of Scaruffi, which I often find biased, without being an admirer of the cockroaches? No? Of course, if you were offended because I said that only a poor idiot can believe him, it was not my intention to bring the Anti-Beatles Scaruffisti into the conversation; it was a little joke that came about by chance with the c'é... how sensitive you all are.
