THE REVIEW

Hello dear guys who pervade this site. After a not too thorough, but effective visit to the site, I noticed that there's room for everyone, for rock, Mtv-made pop, auteur pop, folk, metal, psychedelic jazz, classical music, and so on. All very beautiful, quite remarkable I would say, all this passion! But I wonder, would you be able to clearly and logically understand music and its countless and fascinating nuances without the FOUNDATION! Many of you might be attending university, well, you probably had to deal with exam subjects that are prerequisites for another exam. Well, how can you expect to comprehend the Italian language in a manner approaching fullness without an accurate and passionate study of Latin? That said, how can you engage with the more hidden genres, the more refined musicality, if you do not first possess the BASIC TOOLS!? Well, among the cornerstones of the foundation of musical knowledge, there is this album by Ricchi e Poveri. "I successi" is a sort of synthesis, a Bignami, a summary of the extraordinary band made in Italy. Clearly, it would be preferable to engage with the entire discography of these artists since you can easily manage it over a weekend; however, lacking the time, this "I successi" can start you on the path toward the basics of music, the fundamentals of music, the supporting structure of Italian music. I'm done, until the next review. From La Scimmia Nuda
