...especially they did not have the desire to repeat themselves after the death of Brian Epstein. The mourning gave way to a harsher reality... the carousel and the colors of Pepperland vanished, the detachment from the dream brought them far away from each other.

Who said that the Beatles invented everything? False. However, they are part of, like other groups (even more than many), an evolutionary path, a musical genesis (as paloz says) in which there are clear and indisputable traces of their DNA. How can one say that the Beatles are outside the musical history of the twentieth century, but they only come in as a cultural phenomenon? Crazy, they were great musical pioneers alongside all the historic groups of those fabulous 60s.

Pol Pot was certainly not a jargon king communist, just as Stalin wasn't; they eliminated more communist fighters than Hitler or Berlusconi ever wanted to. They were greedy for power, and they simply crapped all over the revolution by establishing (under the red flag) a nefarious dictatorship with ideological ramifications that still produce incredible confusion today. The overcoming of social classes will, I believe, be a goal of humanity, because it is in the evolutionary concept of the path of human nature and nature itself... it moves toward slow adjustments and corrections, but still towards systems that generate the fewest conflicts to safeguard the survival of the species. The idea that communism will eventually come about is all here... otherwise (why not) we would have to accept mass extinction amid imperialist wars loaded with atomic arsenals. Somewhere, humanity must go; there's the crossroads that leads us to an evolutionary leap or that takes us back to the Stone Age... (meteorites permitting).

No Lord, fascism and communism are not part of the past; the ideologies of 68 are outdated, but the content remains dormant in the downtrodden social classes... but there will be a awakening, those who live will see.
