Mudhoney My Brother The Cow
Voto:
Mudhoney are among the top three grunge bands... for some, they are the best. In my opinion, if they hadn’t adopted too many poses as nihilistic, cocky, black sheep, suburban bullies destined for a happy self-annihilation, if they had been able to see beyond, they would have been the best band ever. Instead, by following their nature, they have remained in the shadows. Their best album, aside from Superfuzz Bigmuff, is Since We've Become Translucent.

The God Machine, however, are a whole different story. For me, they are the best band of the '90s (but maybe I’m exaggerating or being ignorant).

Ok, here you go. I’m giving you 4.

But if it’s a great piece of work, why do you give it only 3 stars? I would give your review three stars because you messed up the rating and for that "Ascoltateli!!" at the end, definitely a lapse in style right at the conclusion of a technically very sound review.

Look, I’m not saying anything to those who listen to Arctic Monkeys, Maximo Park, and other nonsense. The Coral are strong because they know how to vary their sound, and they are Morriconian-Spaghetti Western like nobody (and especially no Italian) has ever thought of being. Of all the English noise these days, a nice bonfire seems necessary. Because they don’t have their own style. Listen to Adam Ant’s ā€œAntmusicā€ (I repeat: here are the samples I’ve already posted) and compare it to Bloc Party, Arctic, Maximo Park, etc., and then tell me if I’m wrong to stay quiet. In my opinion, I’m right, because if I speak I could be accused of incitement to suicide.

Oh, by the way (by the way a pair of balls): I’ve added the samples to all the albums by Adam Ant and Adam and the Ants, even to the reviews that aren’t mine. There are a bunch of great songs waiting for you!

so perhaps they risk throwing themselves away: prolificity is a race of other times, as perhaps this band is (or at least it would be fair to say that the Coral are out of time). but why not pause for a little bit, maybe to come up with a masterpiece (and then release thirteen CDs of b-sides and out-takes)?

Ah, I know this has nothing to do with it, but since we always talk about the eighties, well, yesterday I had no horn to toot and so I added some samples from another very strange character from the eighties (widely covered by me): Adam Ant/Adam and the Ants... there are beautiful forgotten songs, ready for you to dust them off. Enjoy listening. And long live the greats of the eighties!

my favorite single from one of my favorite bands back then (the other killer single is this corrosion). I remember it was written on their website what had happened to the members. and the electronic drum, it said it had become god. ah, I too horrifically exceed 170 if I listen to this track... I give you five points, which if you get caught by the speed camera they'll immediately take away ten, at similar speeds...

I would like to understand how one can define one-shot artists like Idol, Cars, Ant, Hall & Oates, Human League, Journey, Foreigner, Christopher Cross, Village People, Imagination, and above all, ABBA.
