Tonight I took a girl out to dinner. Seafood dinner: appetizers that sucked, cheap fish, her fish couscous was precooked, and my fish lasagna was frozen. The house wine was terrible, so I had to get a Regaleali white... Cost of this crap dinner: 84 euros. Only the lemon sorbet was good, and it wasn’t that Algida one in a lemon peel. Then, while we were driving around, she gets a call on her cell phone: she has an ongoing thing with someone who lives far away. She is beautiful, cultured, intelligent, too intelligent, but what the hell am I doing with her? Am I just the one who pays?!?!?!?! I want the songs of Baglioni back, the romantic movies like "Le parole che non t'ho mai detto" with Kevin Costner (or alternatively "The Bodyguard" with him and Whitney Houston), and above all, I want the nymphomaniac girls back, who dropped out of school in the first year of high school, who are as ignorant as sheep, but who truly fall in love!!! To screw, to screw, with Piccolo Grande Amore, to screw with I Will Always Love You at full blast, but to screw, and to do it with a girl who loves me, even if she doesn’t understand me, even if she doesn’t share a damn thing that I like or care about, who isn’t a good conversationalist at the table, but who loves me, and I want to stop being always the second, the third, the freaking last on the list of the beautiful and accomplished girl of the moment, for Christ's sake!

Whyyyyyyy Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy? Because to keep having no problems if you feel like doing what you want with your girlfriend, obviously. What great memories you bring to my mind! Like when I had a girlfriend who was practically a nymphomaniac, ready to do anything at any moment and every time I wanted, but who only listened to Baglioni and Grignani!!!!!!

I don’t have a problem with Duritz at all. In fact, he might be the best of the nineties rootrock bands that I'm doing a decent revival of these days (now Semisonic are coming: remember them?).

I agree with Dr. Fottermeier: the pronunciation and singing style are Cockney and unbearable.

Anyway, the lyrics are terrible (the most annoying is "Let Me Feel" by Snider: who was he? The one from Twisted Sister?), but the riff of "Fire" is history.

I was there too. Then a friend called me after the concert to go to Tocqueville 13 because there was Alessia Fabiani's birthday party. I love consistency!

I love easy suggestions. I love making peace with the past and everything I've rejected-attached to in life. It's disorienting and liberating. Thank you. I give a 1 to Casadei because I think the “liscio” is terrible, just like this little leftist who still has ideas from 1789 and hasn't been able to evolve. But it's also nice to reconcile with what you despise.
