You are a scientist. And you know this too. I admire you.

just the first one. the blues turn wasn’t a bad idea, but as it materialized, there was nothing exceptional about it. honestly, I don’t care much about this anymore.

there are already so many. and the most beautiful piece is bohemian rhapsody, followed by a magnificent death on two legs.

But are they the ones from nothingness? Yes, right? But hadn't they just gathered recently?

I would put n. 1 black dog; n. 2 be natural; n. 3 the everlasting; n. 4 born a girl.

I also believe that "this is my truth tell me yours" is magic... when it was released, everyone said that the Manics had exaggerated their melodic vein, that they had stretched it too thin, and instead of pop it sounded like light Italian music... that Bradfield had transformed his powerful voice into something else, a "trademark," with all his overly frequent ah-ahs instead of strings, completely ruining himself and making the songs unbearable to anyone who hates vocal showmanship... but in the long run, as the years went by, time has returned what immediacy had taken away... the 98 album is a collection of wonderful songs (for me, number 1 is black dog on my shoulder).

I will read your review... also because I've always liked the Manics (they're always such smiley types, anyway). Yesterday I posted my 5th review of the Cars (this time "Heartbeat City" from '84) and it's toooo long. Did the editors decide to issue a Bulgarian decree against me?

In my opinion, they are a mix between New Radicals and Five for Fighting. In short, good only at making singles... there’s no doubt that "How to Save a Life" is a nice track (maybe a bit repetitive and not building to the ending as much as I would like).

Barlow is a great author. Do you have his "Emoh"? The band is of high quality, and its leaders are filled with great inspiration.

To me, Dolores Geniale never seemed that great. Sure, the first two albums were good. In general, regarding her creative drought and that of any other songwriter, the therapy? would say "happy people have no stories."
