No, things are exactly as big as they need to be. You might write it shorter, and that would suit me just fine. But as I wrote it, it's exactly how and how much it needed to be. A review, a comparison, a comment on the fate of my motherland, a discussion on the history and the current state of flamenco, a questioning of the meaning of the term chill-out, adolescent memories, and a summary of a current personal and emotional situation... In my opinion, all these things put together couldn't have been written more succinctly than this.

Dear Il_Paolo, and dear DeBaser friends, once a gentleman wrote that if you want to be something more than what you are, you must do things "a certain way"... That is, by giving the impression of being more than what you do. Well, a technical, superlative review will make you the most credible and authoritative of reviewers, but you'll remain a reviewer... Got it? Just a reviewer. In any case, I had her listen to Armando De Razza, and she laughed her ass off... :D

it also offers unexpected food for thought about the fate of Man in the consumer society. You’re a genius, I think so now and I’ve always thought so. Stop posting reviews and write a book of reviews: I would buy it, even if it cost 100 euros!!! P.S. For me, this is a great review, but please understand me if I find it easier to engage with your musical works: music always provides me with greater insights compared to film, where perhaps there are too many subjects acting simultaneously in the creation of the work. It’s not the same for your reviews, but for everyone else's in general. P.S.: you’ve made me want to start posting again, after almost a month of abstinence. Seeing your review on the homepage was what a priest would call a sign of the times :)

I still vividly remember when the band took the stage on May 1st with two Watussi completely dressed in white, dancing and dancing, with their incredibly dark hands beating out ethnic percussion, and nothing else, nothing of their bodies, not even their faces, was visible. But how the hell were they so tall??? A group lost when they decided, precisely, to join the circuit of left-wing bands, from Raitre.

Ultra is the ultimate tribute to the Eighties, although it was born in the late nineties. Useless is the Eighties album that was missing in the Eighties. Nocturnal and claustrophobic, megalopolitan and visionary. If you enjoy the suggestions of a ruthless and silent metropolis, if you like those Eighties and those feelings as it would seem from reading your review, enjoy "Le Mille Luci di New York" (or enjoy the related film); enjoy (and listen to) my reviews on the Cars’ "Heartbeat City" and on Ric Ocasek's early albums, especially "This Side Of Paradise" and "Negative Theater". Of course, you will know (and have read the reviews on the Site) about Suicide by Alan Vega and Martin Rev. Bye.

Hi Alevox, I went to the concert in question (see my review of "Shedsongs" by Mike Scott if you want: I talk about it there) due to specific obligations of being in society. Regarding the performance, I agree with what you wrote: obscene, almost entirely obscene. Maybe it's better if they stick to making more intimate music, like in the OST of Million Dollar Hotel, or if they just release a single now and then, perhaps a duet with Blidge, and a couple more tracks like Electrical Storm every other year, because over the long run, in albums, U2 disappoint, and they've been doing that since Achtung Baby. I consider myself a decent fan of rock and Celtic and Irish pop-rock music, which is why I’m asking if you know the other bands I've reviewed like Waterboys, Hothouse Flowers, and Silencers. In particular, if you like post-Celtic rock music in the style of Achtung Baby, I recommend "Born" by Hothouse Flowers and "So Be It" by Silencers. Cheers.

Grant, you’ve been a force, quick and powerful, we’re here. They are truly unbearable (the drummer doing a little dance in the video looks slightly out of place) and she is the trash of the UK wannabes, but that's exactly why I find them likable: look at what they’ve managed to achieve. Whether in terms of quality or success, think about it. In life, it’s important to know how to present oneself, they say. Knowing how to sell oneself, I say. Album 1 and a half - 2.
