While not being anything other than a typical singer of the typical Italian song, it must be said that he has tried to do something interesting, with some passages and even pieces that aren't bad... see POSTER... of course, one shouldn't take him into consideration at all... but maybe, in the end, not even in the past... :D

No, for me many of his choices have been calculated: starting from Sanremo with "si può dare di +" (which apparently he appreciates, and this, like other things, leaves me perplexed). He was pure until 1987, then he tried to mediate between calculations (money) and artistic career, doing things that are more or less appreciable. So in fact, for me it was his calculations that didn't give him the deserved judgment and instead gave him that little bit of success he has.

his problem is that he is, in fact, somewhat unidentifiable, caught between the WANTING to be popular by making money with commercial stuff and the WANTING to be a pure musician or pseudo-alternative or rockstar: a contradiction that makes it hard for people to categorize him. for example, sometimes I hate him and sometimes I like him a lot.
