The Beatles Magical Mystery Tour
Voto:
I believe it's not right to review Magical Mystery Tour as an LP, especially since the Beatles themselves didn’t intend it that way. It’s simply a double EP, the soundtrack of a terrible movie. It was only released as an LP in the United States (adding all the singles from 1967). As for the songs, The Fool On The Hill and I Am the Walrus are the highlights of this mini album. The rest doesn’t belong in the pantheon of the Beatles' discography.
The Beatles Revolver
Voto:
Thank you, Zarathustra. Anyway, I really like the Rolling Stones too. Of course, they are one of the few bands that, in 1967, diving into psychedelia, made a tremendous flop. But then they bounced back brilliantly at least until 1972 with Exile On Main St.
The Beatles Revolver
Voto:
Eight Miles High predates Revolver, you're right... but I didn’t bring the Byrds into it, I mentioned other psychedelic bands that officially debuted only in 1967. Anyway, it's definitely true that the Beatles didn’t invent psychedelia, I think that’s beyond question.

Thank you both, I'm glad you liked the review. I’m utterly in love with GET BORN and I agree with you that in this album maybe the ballads are the most beautiful pieces, but the rock that brimmed with energy from every pore seems to have gone missing. I had very high expectations for this second album from Jet, perhaps too high.
Lenny Kravitz Circus
Voto:
I love Lenny Kravitz but I don't think "Circus" is among the best albums he has recorded. There are a handful of excellent songs, but overall the level of the compositions is below average.
Lucio Battisti Anima latina
Voto:
Simply the absolute masterpiece by Lucio Battisti.
The Italian "Dark Side of the Moon."

After the explosive debut in 2003, the Jet got lost in the maze of mediocrity. Only the ballads and the catchy rock of "Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is" are worth saving.
