I'll give you just this one for this biased and completely out of place sentence.. The film attracts me, but labeling the comparison between the German and the Georgian as "anti-historical" is something utterly unacceptable..

I dropped it by the sixth episode: boring even though it was excessive and full of twists (or presumed ones); overly righteous and cleaned up to the point of being almost ridiculous, verbose to the point of being intolerable, and the narrative voice was unbearable... It seemed to me that the sumptuous packaging and production were there to dazzle just to tell nothing in the end.. But don't trust me too much, I'm very strict and really hard to impress..

I started it yesterday, but I got bored after 10 minutes and switched to something more mindless.. Almost definitely I wasn’t in the mood, I'll give it another try..

I found the review not very effective: aside from the trama which... sticazzi, I got what ethical/metaphorical implications you found but not how this film is from an aesthetic/technical/production standpoint.. Maybe you don’t care at all and therefore rightly overlook it, but I think those are details that range between "important" and "fundamental"...
