"Golden" is the new fourteenth studio album by Kylie Minogue, following the Christmas projects "Kylie Christmas" of 2015 and 2016, and four years after "Kiss me once" 2014 (last album with Parlophone). BMG can be satisfied with this first collaboration of Kylie with them. "Golden" is yet another confirmation of Kylie Minogue as the queen of pop on the same level as Madonna, ready to overcome tumors, depression, and romantic failures, changing style and gifting fans with a powerful album.
This new project, very well articulated and meticulously crafted, presents a country twist that is once again spot-on and special. Kylie leaves behind the electro dance pop years, locks herself in a studio in Nashville, and in two years creates one of her most fabulous, intimate, and diverse albums.
After the leading singles "Dancing" and "Stop Me From Falling," with an image reminiscent of Dolly Parton, she launches "Raining Glitter" as the album's introductory single, which turns out to be the only dance track of the new material. "Golden," which gives its name to the cd, is country, just like the beautiful "A Lifetime to Repair," dedicated to the drastic breakup with actor Sasse that brought Minogue into a crisis.
"Radio On," "Shelby68," "Love," "One Last Kiss," and "Sincerely Yours" are other beautiful country pop gems of this new era while the big ballad "Music's Too Sad Without You," a duet with Italian-origin Jack Savoretti, emphasizes that Kylie aims to remain steadfast with her pop that has accompanied her since 1987.
There are four bonus tracks in the various special editions of the album "Lost Without You," "Every Little Part of Me," "Rolling," and "Low Blow" that bring Kylie back to her disco diva image.
"Golden" is released worldwide on April 6 in 5 editions:

With this album, Kylie Minogue celebrates her 50th anniversary with fans and says she doesn't want to stop; indeed, in September 2018, she will embark on a European tour. For now, there's no Italian date; I recommend this album to everyone, yet another twist from an artist who never ceases to amaze for 31 years.
